We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Health Management Specialist in our Torrance office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Health Management in the development and evaluation of wellness and disease management programs for clients; interfacing with clients and prospects to support their health management program activities and events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Assist the Director of Health Management in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating wellness and disease management programs for clients.
• Provide support to the Account Executives to secure new clients for Keenan’s wellness and disease management initiatives.
• Periodically review and update Keenan health management resources and materials.
• Provide training and other support services to clients to assist them in the provision of their wellness and disease management programs.
• Provide presentations on Keenan health management capabilities to current and prospective clients.
• Collect metrics from clients for evaluation of their health management programs, and assist with data analyses and generation of evaluation reports.
• Assist clients in the creating and/or coordination of Wellness Committees.
• Moderate level of travel required.
MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Skills and Knowledge: Candidates must have at least 3 years experience of experience in planning and implementing wellness and disease management programs. Successful candidate must be self directed, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
