The Department of Nutrition and Health Science is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty member in health education and promotion, available August 2017.
Primary responsibilities: Teaching, scholarship and service. Teaching includes undergraduate and graduate courses in health education and promotion.
Minimum qualifications: Completion of all requirements for doctoral degree in community or public health education/promotion or closely related field by August 18, 2017; experience in community or public health education; evidence of excellent teaching skills; evidence of potential for establishing defined line of scholarship; CHES/MCHES or CHES/MCHES eligible.
Preferred qualifications: Successful college or university teaching experience; a record of quality scholarly accomplishments, including refereed publications, presentations, and research funding; experience with online or hybrid courses; involvement in appropriate professional organizations; involvement in community-based projects.
